What we do
Powerful advocacy at all levels
ACTA leads national advocacy to ensure community transport is sustainable and recognised as an essential service for Australians at state and federal levels.
Collaboration and growth
ACTA connects members with government, researchers, and peers to co-design solutions.
Leadership in national initiatives
ACTA and its members lead major initiatives that drive innovation and influence future policy such as the National Community Transport Pricing Model (NCTPM)
Practical support for sustainable services
Through research insights, and strategic networks, ACTA equips members to strengthen service delivery.

ACTA drives sector-wide impact by leading national reform initiatives, shaping policy through evidence-based advocacy, and fostering cross-sector collaboration.

We work with government to support decision-making by delivering relevant information and solutions, engaging in direct government relations, and partnering on key consultations with the aged care and NDIS sector as well as our members, and other parts of the community where transport is crucial.

Our strategic agenda supports members with tools, networks, and research to strengthen service delivery and adapt to reform. We also convene the sector through national conferences, working groups, and sector partnerships positioning community transport as an essential, future-ready service embedded in aged care, disability, and community inclusion systems in Australia
